Operation Independence

The 2010 Operation Independence Campaign is officially underway! The goal of the campaign is $20,000 and will run from June 15th through August 31st. The Senior Center is proud to have the support and contributions for this annual campaign. The campaign in 2009 was quite successful and each of the donors listed below helped the Sheridan Senior Center to provide Meals, Transportation, Day Break adult day services, In-Home Services, Activities, Family Caregiver Support and Volunteer programming.

With this support in 2009 the Sheridan Senior Center was able to serve more than 2,000 individuals and provide more than 182,500 service support units. We ask for your financial support during this important campaign to provide essential services for seniors throughout Sheridan County. We couldn’t do it without you and the generosity of other community minded individuals who care about Sheridan’s seniors!

The Sheridan Senior Center is proud to have been in operation for 36 years. The Center is poised around many service areas and we are proud to have the support of so many who contributed during our annual Operation Independence Campaign in 2009.

Operation Independence is a summer mailing campaign, in which the contributions directly support the services offered at the Sheridan Senior Center. The Center is thankful to the following donors who graciously contributed to this annual campaign and who are passionate, as we are, about the belief that by serving and celebrating the many attributes of the older generations we are enhancing the quality of life for people of all ages in Sheridan County.
