Day Break - Daytime Elder Care
Day Break is the only service of its kind in Sheridan.  It is created not only for the adults receiving services, but also for their caregivers.  Our daytime services offer a shorter or longer break from the important –  yet also demanding – tasks of taking care of someone. We provide a safe place for adults who require supervision or help with a variety of activities associated with daily living.  Day Break plays a critical role in keeping people in their homes and out of long-term care facilities. The program presents many opportunities for social interaction, along with an array of leisure and recreational activities. Learn more about our Day Break.

Volunteer Program
This service helps recruit and match people to volunteer jobs throughout the community.  Popular volunteer assignments include delivering meals, becoming a senior companion and helping with secretarial work. Learn more about our Volunteer Opportunities.

Family Caregiver Program

Information, education, assistance, support and respite services are provided to family members caring for people 60 years and older, older adults caring for children with developmental disabilities and grandparents who are the primary caretakers of grandchildren.
